We offer emergency service, seven days a week, including holidays, with a doctor and veterinary technician on call to assist with any emergency situation . Our answering service will contact the doctor on-call immediately, and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Many cases can be addressed in the farm where the owner and horse can be more comfortable, or the case can be transferred to the hospital if further intensive care or diagnostics are needed.
Possible emergency situations include: colic, trauma, lacerations, birthing difficulties, down animals, choke, bloat, eye injuries and severe illness, among others. If you are unsure if you are in an emergency situation, please do not hesitate to call. The doctor on call will discuss the situation and determine the best treatment plan for you and your pet.
